Despite all the achievements and progress of humankind we have become rootless people. The land is no longer sacred to us. Lies have covered the world. We have become so accustomed to them that we don’t even recognize them. The world is becoming a place soaked with fear for survival, fear of violence, intolerance for diversity, a place full of glittering emptiness, fake gods, manipulation and cynicism… We have forgotten the dreams in our soul, our heart’s desire. We have forgotten it was meant for us to live in harmony with our heart, with each other, with animals and plants - in respect of the Earth and the cycles of the Nature. We have forgotten so deeply that to many these words sound ridiculous and naive. If this is naive, I am naive. I believe the role of art is, especially in these changing times of human history , to explore the depths hidden under the surface, to reveal the wounds of a human being and the society and heal them. Through creating the performances, I am searching for answers. They seem to be found in the childlike innocence of the soul, in the magical beauty of life, in desires that call from the depths, desire for freedom, love, truth, for exploring of yet undiscovered possibilities of the creative force within us. I believe that human life becomes more meaningful when we become aware of our divinity and the inalienable privilege of expressing our true self, when we begin to appreciate our true strength, the wisdom we have inside. And I am convinced that each of us individually holds a responsibility for the decision of what kind of world she/he wants to create. I believe theatre art also today can be a place of inner transformation, as it used to be in the times of its ritual beginnings: the sacred place where we touch the mystery of existence. Welcome.
